Polar Tales event

On November 21 we held an online virtual event for our new book "Polar Tales" in collaboration with The American-Scandinavian Foundation in New York and our publisher Rizzoli.

We share stories from the field and talk ice, life, future and of course polar bears!

The American-Scandinavian Foundation in New York invites you to a virtual book talk with photographer Melissa Schäfer & producer Fredrik Granath on their new book "Polar Tales: The Future of Ice, Life, and the Arctic", out now from Rizzoli International Publications.

Schäfer and Granath will discuss the book, as well as their work on months spent in the field every winter on expeditions, where they live among the polar bears, establishing an uneasy balance and unprecedented access to the world of the kings of the Arctic.

The event will take place as a Zoom webinar, and will begin with a video presentation with Schäfer and Granath followed by a discussion and an audience Q&A. You can ask questions in the chat during the event, or send them in advance to info@amscan.org. Registration is required; please sign up at the link below.

This event takes place live on SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21 at 2 pm EST (20.00 Central European time).
